Meeting Kili, and the knowledge she provides will be a significant step in your journey; giving you access to abilities, the likes of which you’ve never seen! So, let’s take a look into the quest and immerse ourselves in this exciting new adventure!
RS3 Kili Row Quest Requirements
In this section of our guide, we’ll discuss requirements for both items and skills, recommendations, and the enemies you will face. So, without further delay, let’s do just that!
Skill & Quest Requirements
- Necromancy! Quest
- 20 Necromancy (skill level)
Item Requirements
- Two regular ghostly ink
- Seven basic ghostly ink
Enemies to Face
Within this quest, you will face five chickens, though you can opt not to do this. If you choose this route, to complete the quest correctly, you’ll need to damage them with Necromancy when attacking.
Recommendations
If you choose a different path than battling the chickens, we recommend taking 11 additional basic ghostly ink to complete a lesser communion ritual.
If you opt for the battle choice, bring some Necromancer weapons with you to face the foes.
Beginning the RS3 Kili Row Quest
To get this quest underway, you’ll need to first speak with Kili, a spirit of an Imcando dwarf, in the northeast corner of the City of Um. To get there, make your way to Draynor Village and locate the underworld portal; you should be familiar with this, as it was your start point in ‘Necromancy!’. When you arrive, you’ll find Kili standing by a furnace and anvils. She’ll inform you that she can upgrade your Death Skull equipment and Deathwarden robes, but before doing so, her tools must be ensouled in a ritual.
You’ll then be granted the ability to perform the lesser ensouled material ritual, focused on materials such as bars, cloth, etc.
Kili will then provide you with her tools; it’s now up to you to perform the ritual to get your weapons upgraded.
Lesser Ensoul Material Ritual
Ensure you have your required items and your focus object (Kilis tools), and begin your ritual by interacting with the pedestal at the center of the site, selecting the lesser ensoul material ritual. You must then walk to the nearby platform; you may recognize it from completing the “Necromancy!” quest, and begin your ritual.
Once you’ve successfully conducted the ritual, you should be able to retrieve the ensouled versions of Kilis tools from the nearby ritual chest.
Soul Urn
Now, with the ensouled tools in your possession, head back to Kili; she will thank you for performing the ritual but inform you that there’s a missing component for her to upgrade your equipment successfully.
At this point in the RS3 Kili Row quest, you must either complete a second ritual (lesser communion ritual) or slay the five chickens mentioned above. The goal is for you to fill a Soul Urn to upgrade your tools, so let’s discuss how to do just that.
Slaying Chickens
If you choose this path, ensure your urn is in your inventory and make your way to Fred the Farmer’s farm just near Lumbridge. You can locate chickens in almost all places across Gielinor, but you’re guaranteed them here.
Then, using a Necromancy weapon, begin the carnage. If you find the task to be a struggle, you can, in fact, use other methods to help you on the way, but keep in mind that at least 50% of the damage dealt must be done with a Necromantic weapon.
Casting Rituals
If you’d rather go down the non-violent path and perform the lesser communion ritual, then make your way back to the City of Ums ritual site and begin your incantation using the recommended 11 basic ghostly inks.
Completing the RS3 Kili Row Quest
With your urn now filled with the necessary souls, make your way back to Kili. She will now be able to use the urn and previously imbued tools to teach you how to upgrade your equipment at the nearby soul forge. This upgrade will see your Necromancy tools at tier 20.
Now that you have completed the Kili Row quest guide, roughly every ten levels, you can return to Kili and perform further upgrades on your gear.
