What Are City of Um RS3 Achievement Diaries?
RS3 achievements, in general, are a set of area tasks. In this case, these areas are within RS3s Underworld City of Um and are broken down into subcategories, those being "Easy City of Um" and "Medium City of Um." There will be varying NPCs you converse with to begin or complete each of the tasks, and you can locate them by locating the green task map icon in your minimap or the world map.
Why Do Players Chase Achievement Diaries in RS3?
There are also rewards granted for completing these tasks, such as XP for various skills, Tome of Um, and others. It's worth noting that the various Tomes of Um you acquire from these tasks must be obtained in sequential order; failing to collect the Tome from easy tasks will also render you unable to get those from medium tasks.
Additionally, in the event you lose a Tome, you can return to the NPC who provided it in the first place to have it replaced. With this in mind, let's begin a breakdown of what will be expected of you to complete the easy City of Um RS3 achievement diary.
RS3 City of Um - Easy Achievements
Of the City of Um RS3 easy achievements, there are 12 you must complete in order to progress, each with a few requirements. So let's first explore these requirements before diving further into the achievements.
Easy Achievement Requirements
Currently, the skill requirements for these tasks are not boostable.
- 10 Prayer
- 20 Necromancy
- 15 Crafting/15 Smithing
- The Blood Pact (achievement)
- Necromancy! (Quest)
- Kili Row (achievement)
- Rune Mythos (achievement)
There are no item requirements for this set of tasks. While some of these achievements are available to non-members, some require RuneScape 3 membership, so though that isn't an official requirement, it's probably best to consider it one.
A Prayer For The Dying
All you're required to do in order to complete this achievement is speak with Selene, a resident of the City of Um. Cycle through all dialog twice, and she will teach you a Necromancy prayer; hence the need for 10 Prayer - a simple but worthwhile task.
A View to Die For
To complete this task, you'll need to locate an outstanding viewpoint overlooking the City of Um, ideal for hours of scape gazing.
Your best bet for completing this task is to climb the stairs in the house that sits directly east of Lupe's shop, "Soul Supplies." You'll then want to cross the wooden scaffolding to stand behind the clock face; this should unlock the achievement for you.
And They Called Him Weapon Poison+++
Next, on your City of Um RS3 achievement diary adventure, you'll need to slay a Ghost Troll at the entrance to the cave at Trollgrav using Necromancy. Find and kill either a Ghostly Troll Thrower or a Ghostly Troll Bruiser using Necromancy, and you'll have successfully completed this task.
Basic Soul Forgery
It's at this point when tackling the City of Um RS3 achievement diary your need for Crafting or Smithing comes into play; this is also the first time we see membership needed for the completion of a task. After finishing the Kili Row quest, you'll need to upgrade a piece of Death Skull or Deathwarden equipment to tier 20.
We recommend upgrading the Death Guard, Skull Lantern, or Deathwarden robe pieces.
Damage Without Consequences
For your next task, you'll be expected to use the Finger of Death ability while having six stacks of Necrosis to avoid adrenaline being drained.
Don't Lose Your Focus
Next on our achievement list, you'll be depositing a ritual focus object in the focus storage located at the City of Um ritual site. A simple enough task if you ask us!
I'm Ready To Believe You!
For your next task, you'll need to dispel any ritual disturbances while you perform a Necromancy ritual, another short and sweet task.
Lesser Ritualist
Complete a Lesser Necroplasm ritual, an even shorter and sweeter task!
My Skeleton Can Beat Up Your Skeleton
While battling a Skeleton in the Lumbridge Catacombs, summon a Skeleton Warrior of your own to partake in the fight.
Nobody Tell Guthix
Make your way to the City of Ums Runecrafting altar and craft a Spirit or Bone Rune using the altar.
Poltergeist Pen Pal
Craft some regular ghostly ink while inside the City of Um. Nothing more, nothing less.
The One-Stop Occultist's Shop
Go to Lupes Soul Supplies and make sure you've got some gold on you; you'll need to purchase one item from his stocks in order to complete your City of Um RS3 achievement diary easy segment.
RS3 City of Um Easy Achievement Rewards
