There is a WoW Remix in the works, and on May 16th, Mists of Pandaria in WoW will be making a reappearance! So, not only will fans of the old expansion get a taste of nostalgia, but they will also be able to get their hands on some exciting new loot and experience almost unlimited power as they embark on their journey! For those unfamiliar with this blast from the past, worry not; Chicks Gold is here to walk you through the trials and tribulations, as well as the milestones and successes of this much-loved expansion.

What is WoW Remix Mists of Pandaria?
This WoW Remix event is time-limited and designed to allow players the opportunity to experience WoW Mists of Pandaria from level 10-70 at an accelerated pace. The loot associated with this previous expansion has been entirely overhauled to allow for powerful new effects, meaning players can shape a more immersive experience, power up, and soldier on through this beloved expansion. - Accelerated leveling and content - granting access to almost every scenario, dungeon, quest, and raid.
- Make your own new Remix character at level 10 (working to level 70)
- Almost limitless loot - Powerful items across the map in quests and chests and from bosses and creatures.

- Trade unwanted items for Bronze - upgrade items and buy cosmetics.
- What you collect is yours (will carry over to The War Within)
How Do I Access WoW Mists of Pandaria?
While you won't have to purchase a WoW expansion to get into the action, you will need to have an existing and valid WoW subscription or Game Time to get things underway. This means Classic players can experience all the action with the simple installation of the (live) modern WoW client.
Additionally, those players with WoW Trial accounts can get a taste of the experience without a subscription or Game Time. However, this will only take you to level 20, so if you want to progress further, you will need to purchase a subscription to enjoy WoW Mists of Pandaria's new areas.

Who Will You Be in WoW Mists of Pandaria?
This WoW Remix will see players creating a new character to undertake their Mists of Pandaria WoW Remix adventures. Along the way, you will collect powerful new items and transmogs that you can take along with you in your endeavors through the upcoming War Within. Additionally, any characters you create for your Pandaria adventures will be converted to standard characters within WoW following the event.
We're sure you're itching to know how to get your hands on a new persona for your journey. Fortunately, we're here to teach you! Take a look below:
In the Character Selection screen, you will be offered the opportunity to create a new character (starting point - level 10). If you choose this option, you will only be able to play with other characters partaking in the event. You can easily differentiate between characters designed purely for the WoW Mists of Pandaria event, as they will possess an icon. You must simply select who you wish to be, and it's as simple as that! You will then be able to fully immerse yourself in the adventure and begin climbing through the levels.
WoW Mists of Pandaria - New Loot for New Adventures
This exciting content comeback will see players collecting various items from almost all areas. Additionally, new customizable items will be up for grabs, with each item slot having its own unique identity with spell gem sockets. These sockets also possess exciting turbo-charged effects that act similarly to trinkets.
Whenever you loot new items, you will get the chance of a powerful upgrade that allows you to push the boundaries of the game like never before in the form of uncapped progression. As your growth and leveling progress, you have the opportunity to become even more powerful as items grant increased permanent stats.

Meta Gems
All the below gems are fitted in the Meta socket in WoW Remix Mists of Pandaria.
- Lifestorm - This gem can summon a storm, calling down five lightning bolts per second, with each bolt inflicting 25,885 Nature damage to any enemy within 30 years. During the storms created by this gem, three flowers will grow around the caster. After growing for 5 seconds, they will bloom and offer restores for allies for 10 seconds (388,471 health, 1,720 Haste).
- Thundering Orb - Your character transforms into a Thundering Orb and inflicts Nature damage to enemies in a 30-yard radius; the effect lasts 4 seconds. During your time as a Thundering Orb, you will have damage taken reduced by 50%, movement speed reduced by 70%, and you will have an immunity to loss of control effects.
- Oblivion Sphere - An orb of pure void that increases enemies' Critical Strike damage taken by 50% within 15 yards of the attack for ten seconds. After 4 seconds, the orb explodes, dealing Shadow damage.
Tinker Gems
All gems in this category can be slotted into the Tinker socket for the duration of the WoW Remix.
- Hailstorm - A charge of Hailstorm builds every 3 seconds, and once it is stacked ten times, it unleashes a hail on enemies within a 50-yard radius. All impacts induce Frost damage and apply Numbing Cold.
- Cold Front - You can grant your allies a shield that absorbs damage and applies numbing cold to enemies within 50 yards, all through your abilities.
- Wildfire - Abilities have the chance to inflict additional Fire damage, spreading wildfire to any nearby enemies that inflicted Fire damage every second for a ten-second period.
- Tinkermaster's Shield - Grants an absorbing shield damage equalling 20% of your total health, and the shield regenerates after not taking damage for 10 seconds.
- Fervor - When you're over 80% health, your attacks take 2% of maximum health to inflict Holy damage equal to the amount that is consumed.
- Sunstrider's Flourish - Any critical strikes you make blow up in a fiery eruption, inflicting damage to any enemies within 15 yards of your target.
Note: Numbing Cold reduces movement speed by 30% and damage dealt by 10%. Attacking will remove a stack of Numbing Cold.
Cogwheel Gems
- Blink - This ability will teleport you forward ten yards or until you encounter an obstacle that frees you from stuns and bonds.
- Sprint - Increases your movement speed by up to 70% for a period of eight seconds.
- Roll - This ability rolls you a short distance.
All of the above gems fit into the cogwheel socket.
Cloak of Infinite Potential
Another thing to be earned in Mists of Pandaria in WoW is an artifact cloak, 'The Cloak of Infinite Potential.' This cloak gains permanent power increases as you play, meaning power earned on your most robust character is shared with alternative characters created during the event to give the fast leveling an even quicker boost.

The Bronze Age
When you acquire a drop in WoW Remix Mists of Pandaria, you will be glad to know that if you are dissatisfied with it, you can convert it to the new Bronze currency. This can be done with any of the drops for the duration of the Pandaria event. To do so, head to a bazaar in any zone, and you will be able to acquire class transmogs, mounts, toys, and much more, providing you with another way of getting your hands on WoW Mists of Pandaria's new features and more.

- Opening Cache of Infinite Treasure (earned through quest completion)

- Hands (Armor) - + Random Secondary Stat + 3 Tinker Sockets
- Neck - 3 Prismatic Sockets
- Chest (Armor) - + Stamina + Random Secondary Stat + 3 Prismatic Sockets
- Legs (ARmor) - + Stamina + Random Secondary Stat + 3 Prismatic Sockets

Note: Some lower-level items will have fewer stats and sockets, but when upgrading a piece beyond a certain point, the missing stats and/or sockets will be automatically added.
Jewelry and Trinkets in WoW Mists of Pandaria

Unlike other WoW adventures, in this case, many pieces are only obtainable through completing certain in-game achievements.
