The Fastest Method: Lizardman Canyon
The most efficient way to get Xeric's talisman requires only 5% Shayzien favor. You can earn this favor quickly by healing wounded soldiers in the Shayzien infirmary.
Take bandages from the supply crates and use them on injured soldiers.
Once you have the favor, head to Lizardman Canyon. While some players choose to buy OSRS gold for better equipment, you only need basic ranged gear for this method.
Bring antipoison potions and prayer potions to counter the lizardmen's poison attacks.
The drop rate for Xeric's talisman is 1/250 from any lizardman. If you complete the easy Kourend & Kebos Diary first, this improves to 1/125.
The lizardmen near the Mountain Guide are particularly good targets, as nearby soldiers help with the kills.
Alternative Method: Stone Chests
