Port Phasmatys is one of the most useful locations in OSRS, and I'll show you every possible way to reach this ghost-filled town.
Before we get into the methods, you'll need some initial gold to cover travel costs - you can buy OSRS gold if you're short on funds for the journey.
The simplest way to enter Port Phasmatys involves paying two ecto-tokens at either the northern or western gate.
To get these tokens, you'll need to worship at the Ectofuntus, which requires bones and buckets of slime. While this method works, it takes more time than other options.
For a faster route, you can take a charter ship directly to the port.
The base cost varies, but completing the Cabin Fever quest or wearing the ring of charos(a) reduces the price significantly.
I often charter to a different location first since this can lower the overall cost even further.
The most efficient long-term solution requires completing the Ghosts Ahoy quest.
Starting this quest means talking to Velorina in her house, and while it takes some time to complete, the rewards make it worthwhile.
After finishing the quest, you'll gain free entry to Port Phasmatys forever and receive an ectophial - an unlimited teleport item that takes you directly outside the town.
For players just starting out, walking from Canifis presents a budget-friendly option.
The path from Varrock through Canifis leads straight to Port Phasmatys, though you'll still need those two ecto-tokens to enter unless you've completed Ghosts Ahoy.
Remember to wear a ghostspeak amulet if you plan to talk with the town's ghostly residents or use the bank normally. Or you can use the "quick-bank" option without the amulet if needed.
I recommend completing Ghosts Ahoy as soon as possible since it removes the entry cost and provides the convenient ectophial teleport.
